Remember how I started off the summer complaining about the unbearable heat?

Yeah.  About that.

Turns out, the month of July was not only the hottest EVER on record for our state, but it was the hottest on record FOR THE ENTIRE NATION.  EVER.  In the history of record keeping (going back to 1895).*

See?  I TOLD YOU IT WAS HOT.
